Cranberry Orange Juice

  • Ingredients:
    • 1 cup (240 ml) fresh or frozen cranberries
    • 1/2 cup (120 ml) orange juice
    • 1/4 cup (60 ml) water
    • 1/4 cup (50 g) sugar
    • 1/2 teaspoon grated orange zest
  • Instructions:
    • Combine the cranberries, orange juice, water, sugar, and orange zest in a medium saucepan.
    • Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes, or until the cranberries have popped and the mixture has thickened slightly.
    • Remove the pan from the heat and let it cool for a few minutes.
    • Strain the juice through a fine-mesh sieve to remove the cranberries and any seeds.
    • Serve the cranberry orange juice chilled or warm.
