Cranberry Orange Juice
- Ingredients:
- 1 cup (240 ml) fresh or frozen cranberries
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) orange juice
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) water
- 1/4 cup (50 g) sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon grated orange zest
- Instructions:
- Combine the cranberries, orange juice, water, sugar, and orange zest in a medium saucepan.
- Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes, or until the cranberries have popped and the mixture has thickened slightly.
- Remove the pan from the heat and let it cool for a few minutes.
- Strain the juice through a fine-mesh sieve to remove the cranberries and any seeds.
- Serve the cranberry orange juice chilled or warm.
