Cauliflower Mash
A lighter, healthier alternative to traditional mashed potatoes.
Ingredients:
- 1 head cauliflower, cut into florets
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/4 cup milk (or non-dairy milk)
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Cook the Cauliflower: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the cauliflower florets and cook until tender, about 10 minutes. Drain well.
- Mash the Cauliflower: Transfer the cooked cauliflower to a large bowl. Mash with a potato masher or a fork until desired consistency.
- Add Flavourings: Stir in the softened butter, milk, and minced garlic. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve: Serve immediately as a side dish.

Tips:
- For a creamier mash, add a bit more milk or non-dairy milk.

- Cauliflower mash can be served with any main dish, but it pairs particularly well with roasted meats or fish.
