Honey-Glazed Ham
Ingredients:
- 1 (7-8 pound) bone-in ham, smoked
- 1 cup honey
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/4 cup pineapple juice (optional)
- 1/4 cup orange juice (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Score the ham in a crosshatch pattern with a sharp knife.
- In a small bowl, combine the honey, Dijon mustard, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg, and black pepper.
- If desired, stir in the pineapple juice and orange juice.
- Place the ham in a roasting pan and pour the glaze over the ham, making sure to coat all sides.
- Cover the ham with foil and bake for 2-3 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 140°F (60°C).
- Remove the foil and baste the ham with the glaze every 30 minutes.
- Continue baking for an additional 30-45 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
- Remove the ham from the oven and let it rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing.
