Dried Orange Wreath

Dried Orange Wreath

Dried Orange Wreath

Materials:

  • A sturdy wreath frame (wire or grapevine)
  • Dried orange slices
  • Cinnamon sticks
  • Pine cones
  • Floral wire
  • Ribbon

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the oranges: Slice the oranges thinly and lay them out on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake at 200 degrees Fahrenheit for 2-3 hours, or until they are completely dried.
  2. Gather your supplies: Once the oranges are dry, gather the rest of your materials.
  3. Attach the oranges: Start by attaching the dried orange slices to the wreath frame using floral wire. Arrange them in a circular pattern, overlapping the slices slightly.
  4. Add the cinnamon sticks: Next, add the cinnamon sticks to the wreath. You can tie them to the frame with floral wire or simply tuck them in between the oranges.
  5. Add the pine cones: Finally, add the pine cones to the wreath. You can use floral wire to secure them to the frame or simply tuck them in between the oranges and cinnamon sticks.
  6. Hang the wreath: Once you have finished decorating the wreath, tie a ribbon to the top of the frame and hang it on your door or wall.

Tips:

  • You can use fresh oranges or lemons to make this wreath.
  • If you are using fresh oranges, you will need to dry them in the oven before using them.
  • You can add other decorations to your wreath, such as berries, nuts, or greenery.
  • To make the wreath last longer, you can spray it with a clear sealant.
