  5. Final Assembly: Repeat for the second panel. Trim excess material at corners, turn the bag right-side out, and gently manipulate the corners to pop them into shape.

  • Teflon Foot is Key: Mycelium leather can be "tacky" under a standard metal presser foot. A Teflon or roller foot prevents the material from dragging or stretching during stitching.

  • Testing: Always test your needle size and stitch length on a scrap piece. Mycelium has a specific density; if the stitch is too small, it acts like a perforation line.
