Gut-Friendly Yogurt Delight

Ingredients:

  • Plant-Based Milk: Your choice of milk (e.g., almond, oat, soy)
  • Probiotic Cultures: A probiotic capsule or powder
  • Natural Sweetener: Honey, maple syrup, or a natural sweetener of your choice
  • Flavourings: Optional, such as vanilla extract, cinnamon, or nutmeg

Instructions:

  1. Heat the milk: Warm the plant-based milk to a temperature of around 105-115°F (40-46°C).
  2. Add probiotic cultures: Add the probiotic capsule or powder to the warmed milk.
  3. Incubate: Place the milk in a yogurt maker or a covered container in a warm environment (e.g., a slow cooker, insulated cooler) for 8-12 hours, or until the yogurt has thickened.
  4. Flavour: Stir in your desired sweetener and flavourings.
  5. Refrigerate: Transfer the yogurt to a container and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
